This home schooling momma is beyond happy that it is officially summer break! I am honestly not sure who is more happy about it... the child or myself! lol!
So today, my youngest kiddo is with his paternal grandmother.... my hubby is at work... and I am here in the hotel room all alone. While typically most moms would love and beg for the alone time to do whatever they want.... I AM LOSING MY MIND! lol. There is nothing that I can not do with him here so I am just sitting here not knowing what in the world I want to do.... nothing is sounding appealing! I have no idea what time he will be brought back to me, but I have a feeling I will be stir crazy until he is. lol.
It's so weird how that works... I NEVER have alone time... I am lucky if I can pee alone... here I have it and am not enjoying it. lol. Now if my husband were not at work and we could go out and enjoy the day together, have a day date or something.... that would be different.... but sitting alone in a hotel room... meh. I don't even have anything to clean! lol. I can do a load of laundry, but I do that at night when the rest of the hotel is asleep.... the washers in the laundry room are always available then. I can pack some things that I know we will not use before we head home... but that will take me all of half an hour at most....
If I am this bad NOW... I can not imagine what I am going to be like when my last baby moves out of the house.... I still have at least 7 more years at least..... Empty Nest and I.... we will not get along well.
There is only so much napping one can do though. lol. Not to mention with him being almost 11... I am able to nap even with him here. It was such an odd feeling to have him not with me. LOL!

Who has the best husband EVER!?! THIS GIRL! He purchased Aerosmith tickets for us! I am beyond excited! He took me a few years ago to see them and it was beyond great. This is their farewell tour and seeing as they are my favorite band, it was just a must that I go.
I’ll have to make a top secret ice cream run. *looks around with shifty eyes* They’re always watching me though so I have to think of how I’m going to smuggle it in undetected.
When I was a teenager, I smashed my nose on DMX's chest. Picture it, Six Flags.... 2000.... There I was walking along side the guy I was dating at that time when I felt as if my shoe was untied..... I continue walking but now looking down not paying any mind to what is in front of me.... I look up and BAM nose in chest..... Of course it was my fault for not paying attention and as I am looking up at the person whom I have run into I am saying the words "I am soooo sorry"... then I realize it is DMX. His body guards were not thrilled, but you know... if they had been doing a better job... I would have run into one of them and not him. He was not rude or anything, actually quite a good sport about it and chuckled that it was all good before we parted ways.
